The calligraphy is probably the single most famous poem in Chinese history: ask a random Chinese anywhere in the world and if they only know one Chinese poem, this is probably the one. Written by the master Tang poet Chia Tao and inked by me.
Loosely translated:
Under the pine trees, I asked the apprentice. He said "The Master has gone to gather herbs. He is on this mountain, but the clouds are too deep to know where."
