Not Finding the Hermit

You need to click on the picture to see it fuller size. Heck, you need to buy a big print. The other print offers look good in their sizes, this one probably looks good as a mural :-)

The mountain is Half Dome in Yosemite. The calligraphy is probably the single most famous poem in Chinese history: ask a random Chinese anywhere in the world and if they only know one Chinese poem, this is probably the one. Written by the master Tang poet Chia Tao and inked by me.

Loosely translated:

Under the pine trees, I asked the apprentice. He said "The Master has gone to gather herbs. He is on this mountain, but the clouds are too deep to know where."

It is tinted with slight coloring. Printed on archival pigment ink on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper. Available in 2 sizes:

Approximately 10.5" x 14.5". Matted with foam core backing. $100 including shipping within US.

Approximately 12.5" x 17.1". Matted with foam core backing. $130 including shipping within US.
