Looking for a sandbar...

"Looking for a sandbar, the Spring wind rustles my frayed clothes."

This is the second half of a poem written by one of the most famous Tang poet, Chang Chi. Many of his poems are of Taoist theme yet he wrote with compassion about the common people. The calligraphy is written by me and the red chop is printed.

The original color slide was taken at late evening, early Spring of 2003. The strong blue cast is as recorded on the slide. In this image, I have rendered the lower region in a more subtle almost black and white tone.

I will sign on the edge of the print. Print dimension is 16 1/2"x 9 3/4" on archival pigment ink on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper and matted with foam core backing. $100 including shipping in US.
